Defining Smiles

Treasured Images continues to capture smiles all over this area. The “Made” Newaygo County community photo project is still in the works, and those who participated in our local expo photo booths will given updates soon. We have had a smile filled Spring 2018 as we have been photographing little league baseball teams and soccer teams in Fremont and Holton.

It is a joy to work with the various athletic organizations and be a part of building lasting memories for the players and families involved. As we process the photos, we notice a variety of smiles and expressions that define the personality of each child.

I would like to define some of the different smile types. There is the cat that swallowed the canary, the charmer, the deer in the headlights, sweet and innocent, mischievous, game face, clown, and the professional. Plus there are more undefined smile types, but it surely brightens our day each time we encounter these fine young athletes. And, kudos go to all the parents and coaches that invest so much love into each child.
